Return the entire team but if the big guys can handle stronger players underneath, we have a chance. We would need further development from Ako Adams as well to lighten the ball handling duties of Marcus Evans.

Plus we'd need a better NC schedule next year.

+1. Agree with all of the above. As for MemOwls' critique, our style of play is much, much different than that under previous regimes; it is a much faster paced and aggressive game, both offensively and defensively...which, along with our relative youth, is the primary reason for the high turnover ratio. That 2014 VCU squad he talks about with so few TOs was a Senior-laden club.

No question, our biggest vulnerability at this point-- one the is exploited repeatedly by the better teams-- is our inability to guard the post defensively, as well as an inability to post up on offense (which allows the opposing defenses to double up on our outside game). Right now, Quez is our only quality post-up defender, and he too often plays out of control, resulting in frequent fouls. He needs to bulk up and mature as a player, which he has not done at all year-to-year from his Freshman campaign. Meyers needs to bulk up as well if he is to become a quality defender (though I love his footwork and moves in the paint).
