Yeah, this is a good question. I'm still a little pissed at that ending, but if K'un Lun was destroyed it makes it easier for Danny to go back to New York.

It does I guess--maybe he thinks he has to hook back up with his "buddy" from K'un Lun whose still in NY working his own angles. He's actually more pissed about him not being the Iron Fist and Danny leaving than anything, but I don't recall him having that convo with Danny during the series--at least to that end.

Foggy is in the show and my understanding is that he and Matt are teaming up in some fashion; I assume it has to do with their practice. Karen's in there too.

I could buy a case/situation coming up that would bring Foggy and Murdock back together to investigate / represent someone.

I saw an interview with Charlie Cox where he said that Matt Murdock has quit as Daredevil because of all the failure at the end of DDS2. It's why you see him in the trailer wearing JJ's scarf over his eyes/face - he's not wearing the suit. But of course he changes over the course of the show because we do see him in the suit.

I did notice the headgear change in the trailers... and thought something was up. The end kind of felt like he had to become what he hated most to get the job that needed to be done done.

In one of the trailers Alexandra (Sigourney Weaver) refers to her as a PI. Doesn't mean she's actively working but it's something...

True. I don't know much about Alexandra but she sure did look to be in with Madame Gao...who was also in with Wilson Fisk ( although he isn't returning...yet) who is also in some way in with The Hand.
