Agree with Big about 5 dbs. Even if you stay 4-3, that 'kat' or 'bandit' or whatever else anyone wants to call it is usually a larger safety

Three of the five from 2015 burned their redshirts, with two (Douglas and Bickham) getting starts as the season went on... Also, one must note that former walk-on JP Thompson started as a redshirt freshman. Thompson showed promise at times last year, but I think having a walk-on start as a RS freshman is an indictment of talent level/depth at the position. Also, walk-on James Sanft saw significant playing time as a TRUE freshman in 2015. His situation is a little bit different however, as he was older as a true freshman (Mormon).
