He did, but that was his sister that Ellaria Sand murdered. Think Cersei could have found common cause with him there. They haven't even discussed what to do with Dorne and the Martells (who incidentally, the Tyrells hate/dislike going back a long time). Part of this is because the show decided to send Jaime to Riverrun much later than he went in the books, specifically after they killed off Myrcella (which hasn't happened in the books). Through really poor plot arc management, they have created another ridiculous loose end that makes no sense.

D&D have proven to be much better editors of GRRMs work than architects and developers of his unfinished outlines. That bodes very poorly for the final chapters of the story. I do not want the legacy of the show tainted by poor execution in the final seasons.

Also, I cant help thinking that the 7-8 episode quip from a while back is because they don't like doing the build up episodes (and they frankly suck at it - the wine drinking scene with Tyrion, Missendai and Grey Worm wasn't even SyFy channel level bad - it was much much worse). This entire season has been about 3-4 episodes: 1) Jon coming back, 2) Hodor, and likely the last two. The rest has been written and executed as half assed filler and it really bothers me. Anyone wanna watch the lifetime channel Dany-Jorah scene again?

Also, I liked the man on fire comment by ken. Apropos. Also one of my favorite parts. However, I really don't know what that was about him peeing in the river - it was either a tease of LS (aka LSH), or was D&D pissing on our hopes for LS.
