I understand the Red Women's morphosis at the end should grab attention, so maybe I should have qualified my earlier statement with "nothing happened to any character I have any interest in." This is now the major problem with the story. Basically, in my opinion, there really aren't many good characters left and it does not appear they are developing new, interesting characters to replace the ones they have lost. Everyone is so shallow now, they need to bring back the Hound!

Fair point. But don't underestimate the sand snakes and their vicious mom. I anticipate that they will step up as most interesting characters this season.
