Saw it today. With Palpatine back we ended up with him using the same play book he used with Luke. Guess the creativity with that character ends with the limited creativity of the people Disney put in charge of these. Also agree that it was dumb how they used different directors without knowing the arc for the last three. Disney blew that.

But it wasn’t bad. I enjoyed it enough. Kind of would have liked to have seen Palpatine escape with his newfound energy as his plan fell apart. But if his character is really gone perhaps there was a second Sith he trained as a backup still out there somewhere.
