Why not? Adding two teams and going to 16 conference games still adds 6 more conference games to FS inventory.. And it allows the teams to schedule more home OOC games to further bolster the bottom line.

of the top 20 conferences- every single one of them is at 18 now(A10 going there this year)- that has at least 10 teams- there's 2 9 team leagues that only play 16.

So according to you, we can't go to 20 and we can't go to 16... and you say we can't do this because no other conference has anything but 18 (plus coaches would resist, though i don't know why)... whatever the best answer is, why do you limit your options just because no one else does things that way. That is always the weakest argument.

That's also your main reason for pushing us to expand... that every major football conference is at 12+, except for the Big 12. You artificially look to box us in with bogus constraints. But if something is a good idea, then it should be done.
