I posted an article about a month or 2 ago that they are adding sports and looking to join D1. I think Belmont Abbey also mentioned the same goals as well. I do think some conferences might split apart like MVC/MVFC in the future, and conferences would be looking for other schools. Bellarmine and Belmont Abbey both does have an affiliate in sports at D1 like LAX. Might be cheaper for them to have all sports at D1 level and in the same conferences.
