When discussing Baldwin for me telling JM that school size didn't really matter....

Disagree with that statement and for several reasons. Baldwin has looked the part so far but he is a kid that played 1A ball and also American Legion. Both of those are potential red flags in baseball. Most of the better player now are on the top travel ball teams in baseball and play top competition. Much easier way to evaluate talent,he is doing ok but I still have some doubt.
Basketball is the same thing but the top players all go to private schools for the most part-as with Colby White. They also play travel ball and it can be super hard to get anything out of that at times. Whoever catches the inbound pass-shoots and zero defense. The kid from Dixon HS that just left UNCW is a perfect example of bad recruiting of a big kid playing at a tiny school against small players.
