Last year's class included two JUCO Div I All Americans, James Thompson and our first legit Michigan all state player.

My comment for this year's class so far in comparison is where are we?

Indeed following our recruiting is very, very hard compared to say FB.

In FB we are seeing scores of players going to an EMU jr. day or some other event and many getting offered. Everything except for the grad eligibles, etc and say JUCO hole filling is done earlier.

OTOH, in basketball the recruiting classes aren't typically formed until say the national JUCO tourneys in March and then a lot of last minute scrambling for transfers, decommits, grad eligible transfers, late developing high school seniors, etc.

I heard of the possibility of a prep player last year in early July. Turned out to be JT4.

The staff does this well making their moves late in the game.
