Perhaps surprisingly, they chose to rank us #2 in brand perception. Not sure whatall that metric enatils in their criteria, but we then rank #14 and #12 in Football and Men's basketball success, the two major revenue sports and main ones people consider when thinking about college sports in general.

In football potential they ranked Rice dead last. How does that help our brand potential? Not sure...

These appear to be from October 2021.

The Rice Brand. Academics matter to most brands. Sometimes athletics overshadows that, but not often. Remember that we're probably the only school in the top 150, much less top 20 in that list.

Joe has helped facilities, but the key metric that jumps out at me is leadership alignment. Of course, performance in revs is vital, but we KNOW that has been poor. ALignment is perhaps the thing that RDR can help the most with... and is the most within our institutional control.
