Not all 5 star recruits went to the pros after their freshman year this past season. In truth, many did. But to use an example close to home, McAdoo was 5 star and stayed a couple of years at UNC.

All this might be moot, but I don't understand why we would accept a home visit knowing we had no shot at getting this guy. What good would it do us? We're not going to brag to other recruits that "we got a home visit with so and so" and argue that they should look more closely at us. No, you either get the guy or you don't. And what's the kid get out of it? Nothing. I would hope we're not taking "charity" home visits from anyone we're recruiting.

all it did was bring up the debate on whether we want a one-and-done type player. I long ago forgot the name of the guy we're even talking about!
