RE: 2016 Old Dominion Basketball Recruiting Den
But, JJ needed to fill a roster to play NOW. He has not had the luxury yet to get anyone other than "ready to play now" players. He got here in the late Spring less than two years ago. He basically has had one and a half years of recruiting. I don't know if JJ is the the savior or the ruin of ODU BB but it seems to me that he has done a lot to turn things around....not just play on the court but stuff like bringing past players back into the fold, being more flexible than BT and repairing some presumed cracks in relationships with local coaches and AAU folks.

I know this is the age of instant gratification but just remember how we felt during the abomination that was the 5-25 season, nationwide humiliation from that Coach's show etc. I will take this slightly disappointing season to this point ..(although we were having outrageous expectations from a team that was not as good as the faux top 25 rating but better than the road flopping team of the last few weeks) ....over the last two seasons of the BT regime,

There, I'm, finished venting!
