Now you claim you have lived in Boston most of your life, have gone to many BC games, know many BC athletes, went to two BC games last year, and the stands were "empty at half time." Sorry if I am a bit confused.
Now I'm confused ... what possible contradiction could there be between having family and friends who live in the Boston area and growing up in Boston, on the one hand, and having lived in Boston most of his life or having gone to some BC games when he was back in Boston visiting friends and/or family, on the other hand.

On the contrary, the two seem quite compatible with each other.

And I'm even more confused as to what it has to do with the Big Ten pursuing a school they have no interest in adding and BC accepting an invite from a conference they have no interest in joining?
