The point being, I think we can recruit at the same level as GT as we don't have some the academic requirements they do, so on some occasions better. Time will tell.
You are on crack if you think you're recruiting ACC talent to Statesboro. You'll have a handful of players in any given class, but you're setting yourself up for disappointment if you really believe you're going to recruit at the same level as Tech.
What about the fact in the last two years we will have put four players in the NFL, two of which are starters? GT can't match that. Does the NFL carry any relevancy to talent level in your world?
And that is recruiting as a FCS school. Let's see what happens over the next few years as we improve facilities and recruit as a FBS school. I can't wait to take nc st to the woodshed on August 30.
Who are the 4? Wilcox and Eubanks are starters, I don't know of anyone else playing right now. If you're referring to McKinnon and Westbrooks, don't count your chickens on them quite yet since they're not in the NFL yet. Not saying they won't play, just don't use them as an example when they're not there yet.
Scott is not on a team and was on a practice team only. Russell is practice team at most right now if he hasn't been cut as well.
If you are invited to the Senior bowl it is highly likely you will be drafted and at a minimum on a roster.
