Jonathan Marchessault's hat trick propels Vegas to West finals! Riley Smith and William Karlsson, all original Knights add a goal each!

Wow!

I didn't think they'd survive the historic Power Play of the Oilers. Johnathan Marchessault and two other Original Golden Knights did all the work. Only OBNE penalty for the Knights the whole game! Very disciplined play. The stats showed that 5-on-5 they were clearly the better team. Edmonton will have to do some work this offseason if they are gonna get McDavid and Dreisaitl to the Cup.

Kudos to Aiden Hill, who was traded for in the offseason for a fourth round pick from the Sharks. Usually, you hope to have two good goalies in a season. vegas has been blessed with four, and they've needed all of them. Skinner stumbled, but it was Vegas' night.

That series itself felt like the Cup series normally would. On pins and needles the whole time even when we were leading.

Now, I THINK Seattle would be the easier opponent in the West Final, but Dallas would allow me some earlier games to get some sleep.

Gotta pick Carolina in nthe East, but Florida has made everybody's brakets a mess, so watch out. Vegas-Carolina in the Cup would be fun!
