Very true, but it takes time and effort for reality to evolve. That which is true does not cease to be true simply because we wish it to be different.

Bottom line is this with regard to the discussion. I have no problem whatsoever with ECU in the SEC. I think it could be a good move, but it's not necessarily the best move the SEC could make at this time.

ECU is not a slam dunk addition. That might change one day, but for now, that's the way it is. The SEC, if wise, will be looking at schools like OU, UT, KU, and maybe a couple of others. Why? Because they bring greater value in the short term as well as the long term. ECU might be a good long term investment, but it is a work in progress rather than product that has fully matured.

With that said, I wish nothing but the best for ECU. I hope you all make it into a Power league as I think you are worthy of being there.
