Perhaps Jaques should spend some time reading all the trash the Topper fans spread for the past week. Now I gotta say, that is expected but when your chest pounding is exposed for bravado it is time to eat humble pie.

Players? No doubt Andrew Jackson, and Andrews the running back were talking trash on the field. So sure they are the targets of opposing fans. Did the Cajuns do similar things? Yea, most likely and when you win it carries a little more gravitas.

WKU fans were not the only ones beating their chests. Ul fans were doing the same but fortunately your team backed up your talk. However, I personally would not feel the need to gloat and rub your nose in it for several reasons.
1. It is immature and I choose to not behave like a child.
2. Today's winner could be tomorrow's loser so I choose to treat others the way that I would like to be treated in the same situation.
3. It is a game, a game that I follow seriously, but I do not define my self-worth and the quality of my life based upon the record of the sports teams that I follow. There are more important things in my life. I would hope that there were in yours as well.

You talk about immaturity and choosing not to behave like a child, yet you attack me personally and call me an idiot a few posts up. I didn't say our players weren't talking trash.

I was just as worked up as you were during the game, so at the lowest point during the game (WKU 10 - UL 0), I saw a few WKU jawing off and being aggressive. Nothing is wrong with that, it's a part of football and any contact sport.

I was just glad that we were running them over at the end of the game. Bringing it straight to the two demi-god linebackers that are the best in the Sun Belt.

But I feel that your acting like WKU players were bad becasue they were jawing as if UL players did not do the same was an idiotic statement.
I agree that jawing is part of the game which is why I did not feel that your calling out of the WKU players for what you just said was part of the game was warranted.
Secondly, going on a message board and gloating is immature, period.
Your team earned you the right to do so, however, that doesn't make it right. And you can gloat without insulting players and coaches.
