Yep, the ole' "we have everything we need to compete for CUSA titles NOW", and the "we can win a CUSA title with homegrown talent". I think he really meant it too. I haven't given up on McGee, but I feel much better about the Haase hire.

Remember when he first got here he talked about his assistant coaches having NFL experience then a good number left. Now he's hired guys he could trust something I feel XCNC would've done. Ricky Williams is coaching HS football somewhere think RB's wouldn't love to call Ricky coach?

Finally the dust has settle at WR, the reasons I think this offense is inconsistent is QB/WR play. At WR we don't have many big play guys just a solid group of guys. Since McGee got hired on the WR position has explained everything McGee. Why was Sigler canned, and six names can explain why we are where we are.

No, looking at McGee's first year assistant coaches compared to this year's. I don't think his safety blanket has helped in coaching our RB's. I haven't seen any improvement out of Reaves, I think a better coach at that spot would help with the talent we have there. I guess McGee got burned by Brohm and Helton so he went the safe route and hired a friend the Callaway approach. Ricky would be one heck on a RB one would think don't know about recruiting though.
