You are saying that FSU/GT should have to give up schedule flexibility and a possible home soft opponent in order to play each other every year. These are 2 conference mates with GT being the closest to FSU and you think that it makes perfect sense that they have to jump through hoops to schedule each other every season.

No, what he is saying is that in order that everyone can get some of what they want, you have to choose. You can't have all three. In an eight game conference slate, you can play two of Miami every year, Georgia Tech every year, or Clemson every year. All three creates problems for everyone else to get what they also want. What you fail to realize is that for your scenario to come to fruition, it causes a lot of problems in what some other schools want. You are essentially asking for Texas treatment, to always get your way, and then everyone else figure out what they can get that is left. We see how well that works.
