I believe his point was Georgia (State) already has a football team, and has already seen the majority of additional support that they are going to get.

His point does not make sense. Look at Boise State, Florida State, Miami over the past 30 years. They all have been playing football for over 50 years. But the support did not kick in until the late 70's which correlates to Alumni maturity and growth.

Then look at USF, UCF and Houston. Same result. Alumni support grows with a football team.
