RE: Postgame/Post BE Tournament thoughts
I have said it many times but it is worth repeating... Louisville is damn near impossible to score on when the refs swallow their whistles and let them grab, bump and slap you the entire game. Combine that with UC not hitting outside shots and missing the few free throws they had and you get today's result. Hell had UC gone 5-8 from the line instead of 1-8 they may have won the game (I know scoreboard says they lose by 2, but that changes how we play in the last minute) and I think swings a few plays where we were deflated after misses.

I was incredibly proud of the defensive effort today. I think after the last two draining games the mental execution on offense was not quite their. And again, Louisville is the most dependent team in the country on how the refs choose to officiate the game. If they are allowed to get away with their grabbing, bumping and slapping they are a top 10 caliber team. I always hate losing to them, but great run for the Cats... lets get to New Orleans.
