Okay, really now. What do you REALLY think of the media covering ETSU?

I think the whole context of this question is wrong- your searching for people to talk bad about others.

Heres the deal, nobody in the local media is going to ask "Gotcha" questions to any coach or the AD. You obviously think this is a problem. I disagree.

The news media's job in my opinion is to tell the facts. It is not their job to sway opinions one way or another. Futher, their access to the school depends on relationships. If you burn these relationships, you will get less facts and less quotes and thus will be less able to do your real job. You know exactly how that works.

I think they do cover stories that make the administration look bad sometimes. They cover when the baseball field isnt completed on time, they covered the soccer field issues at the time, they covered the 20k shot this year, etc. What you would prefer is say something like: "There were 3,000 people in attendance to tonight's game, though we used to have 5-6k at each game before Stanton pulled football and destroyed the athletic department." Or "the soccer field is just completed and looks nice, but lets ask the AD why they cant play in a hay field so that we can have a basketball arena first" I simply do not think that is their job.
