RE: Rumors of USM dropping game @WKU
Hopefully if WKU complies they'll get something good out of it rather than just a buyout, which I'm sure is rather small.

When we let Vandy out of a game facilitated by ESPN(ESPN wanted Vandy to play the opener @ The Big House that year) ESPN set up Virginia to Murfreesboro as a one game deal. A game most of us believe was lost on a bad ball spot. So by letting Vandy out of a game scheduled at their place we got a home game against an ACC program and almost won.

When Louisville approached Memphis about a game and Memphis wanted to drop or push back the game with us(it was game 2 of 5) we allowed them to push the game back to the end of that series, in payment a 1-1 tacked onto the end of the deal. For letting Memphis push the game back we got two more years of playing a beatable travel friendly in state opponent.
