I agree here. For all my griping, mick could be secure. And in a way I agree he should be kept sans an NCAA birth. We could be worse off passing the team on to someone else after next season.

From what I understand, there are ways to gauge interest in a job before you fire someone.

If the team fails to make the NCAA Tournament next year, I would hope Mike Thomas will have gauged interest to see if there are any quality replacements before firing Mick. Otherwise, you are correct.......it could get worse.
