I guess Edgy was referring to Greg Barksdale... he's the three star LB/S (ranked as the 50th best Illinois prospect in Edgy's recently posted final list) that was commited to Wyoming. Good size to work with.

Maybe, I was hoping for a bigger surprise like Osei or a 4-star recruit signing with NIU. But I'lL take Barksdale anytime

I give credit to coach Kill, excellent pickup in Barksdale. Nice recovery from a few of the recruiting losses in the past couple of weeks.

Unbelievable, but they took down Barksdale's name from the list of commitments on the official Huskie website blog (as was mentioned in one of the other threads). Did the guy send his LOI to NIU by accident? What the??? I hope we get an explanation relatively soon on what went down with all of that. So strange...and a bummer.

And apparently it was just a hiccup, as he's now being reported in the latest wave of signees
