The only exceptions to the dead periods are talking to early enrollee candidates such as Morgan Park's Greg McKee.

Jan. 2nd is huge because it's the first day that we can call recruits again and obviously we play our bowl game that day.

A couple big-time Florida prospects have visits set up for Jan. 15th.

Thanks. Would it be fair to assume that we will get some verbals on the 2nd or 3rd and then we'll have to wait for another batch until the 15th or so?

Since verbal information comes from the recruits, they can inform the various services anytime. NIU Coachs can not mention any recruit by name until the signing date.
