We do need to break free from the 2 party system, but you dont do that 6 months before a presidential election. You start years in advance. So, im asking you Barr supporters, please don't screw the sane members of this country.

McCain is leading us down the same path as Obama, just not as quickly. The Supreme Court no longer references the Constitution...it now votes along party lines.

I don't believe the latest gun control or abortion votes support that claim. IIRC, both were 5-4 votes, but not the same 5-4. Certainly there are members who do so... and just as many on the left as right. In fairness, one can support a number of positions without violating the Constitution... I don't believe the word Privacy is anywhere in it, but many on both sides would argue that it is implied.

As for the last election... I don't think it's a lay-down that we'd be any better off under Gore or Kerry than under Bush. Now perhaps you personally... but not in aggregate.
