Original announcement of the Pub, thread created by Dog Fan, 1-8-2020, first post included a copy of the official statement: "Victor E. Pub will be located on the West end of the Convocation Center track and will be open when gates open an hour prior to tip-off. The area will feature $2 drink specials. Victor E. Pub will also have a full service bar including mixed drinks and a unique drink for each game. The area will also have comfortable furniture and high top tables to make your viewing experience at Huskie Basketball games more relaxed and enjoyable. Victor E. Pub will be open this Saturday, January 11th when doors open at 12 PM for Women’s Basketball, which tips-off at 1 PM, and will stay open through the conclusion of the Men’s Basketball game, which begins at 3:30 PM."

I had to look this up because I never heard it called "Victory Pub." Maybe since then Victor E. Huskie became a teetotaler.

BTW, this is not about you, DF. It's about a brand or sub-brand commonly used in the Convo and on the official website.

Don't know when or why they changed it. Maybe naming rights were purchased by Victory Auto Wreckers.
