Posted the above to make the point that the good news is that, while their hate is shifting to football it is probably to little, to late because Butch Jones has brought in enough talent already to put a competitive product on the field next year.... and could have this year if he had felt doing so would not have compromise his long term goal of sustained success.

Their AD, who is from Alabama, knows that the football program is poised for long-term success as far as talent, and everything else is secondary to that. He also knows that Butch Jones- who is hard-headed to a fault, feels responsible for him being there, and feels a sense of urgency.
