That could certainly have interesting ramifications for the possibility of WVU moving to the ACC someday.


WVU is never getting invited to the ACC.

The only time WVU ever really had a chance at the ACC was when the conference first formed and they supposedly narrowly got rejected because it was hard to travel to Morgantown. That was before the ACC had developed a culture of academics or (since the conference was first forming) really any culture at all.

WV to the ACC is a doomed relationship. First it was doomed b/c the ACC didn't want them, next time it will be doomed b/c WV doesn't want the ACC and instead helps the big 12 steal the best of the leftovers.

I agree, that is a very likely scenario when the dust settles around the ACC!
