Special Teams:

Kick Off Return - Jaylon Jackson excitement 9/10

Field Goal - Lefty Gomez excitement 9/10

Punter - Tomasek excitement 9/10

Long Snapper - Bird excitement 9/10

PAT blocker - Miles excitement 9/10

Special Teams really are good indicators for the overall depth of a football team. I believe EMU will have the top special teams in the entire conference. This past season was the first time I saw an EMU kick return for a TD (exciting). In addition Sterling Miles blocked 3 extra points - that’s unheard of at this level. I expect Sterling tone a starting DE next season.

Oh jeez, thanks Luckey I meant to do special teams as well, but yeah they are pretty much 10/10 for me. With both Gomez and Tomasek back as well as Bird and Jackson as a returner. Not only are those guys back but they are super talented! I believe Pohl is even back for kickoffs.

Really the only guy we loose on special teams is Drummond as a punt returner. Honestly I don't feel like that is a huge loss. As a whole Dylan is a massive loss, but as a punt returner specifically Dylan wasn't a big game breaker like Jackson is as a kickoff returner. Dylan was just a steady, smart guy who would catch the punt (which don't get me wrong, there is a big time value in that). At the very least I think we should be able to find a guy that can do that.
