Sorry to disagree with the both of you, but Rynearson is not a dilapidated dump. Does it need some improvements? Yes, but to call it what you have is in my opinion, not correct.

Dammit Ken you ride the elevator up to YOUR seats in the Presidential Suite. You don't stand in a long line for YOUR food and drink which, by the way is far superior to the concessions two stories down. The restrooms up there don't have puddles on the floor. You are akin to the guy who lives in a gated community in a slum ridden city. Rynearson needs a ton of work in the eyes of us "little people".

I'm on the CID train here. We need to be incredibly receptive to the USFL. The original lighting system at Rynearson was installed by the Detroit Wheels of the WFL after all. Those games can also be a gold mine to the city of Ypsilanti. U-M stadium has hosted the NHL winter classic as well as the Soccer International Champions Cup and they put a bunch of money into the local economy.

I agree folks with the notion that maybe EMU can get who knows say 1M for hosting USFL games and use that money to renovate rest rooms, concessions, repairs, etc.
