The bigger question is will the Big2 separate from the other P5 conferences and create the little 8. If they do the G5s will have some new company and measuring sticks. Only a few teams left in the ACC, PAC and B12 who could separate from the other little 8 members.

The answer to this question is that the 10 FBS Conferences will be together
Because the School Presidents representing each of the 10 conferences just agreed to a 12 team playoff. So I do not think you have to worry about that until about 2035.
