2008 played a much tougher schedule, lost 2 less games despite playing 6 more games, and outscored opponents by an average of 18 points, and were 2 baskets away from being undefeated. 1985 lost to South Carolina and Detroit Mercy, and barely beat Boston College and UAB.

2008 completely shut down Drew Neitzel, Darren Collison, DJ Augustin, and AJ Abrams. 2008 would have destroyed Turner and Askew. 2008 beats 1985 by 15.

Depends on what the rules are. Shot clock? 3 point shot? Turner was smaller but Askew was 6-5 and a sculpted tank. He was able to guard Jordan really well when he was in Seattle. Plus Cal never played zone and Lee would have given them trouble
