This is after Power-5 wins their war and G5s can no longer keep up financially in order to stay in the FBS that the P5 legislate to include higher scholarship requirements and other legislation making FBS unaffordable to all G5 who didn’t get the call to join a P5 conference.

Now, this “FCS” will still have its top teams be invited to just a handful of bowl games vs P5. But a majority of FCS seasonal best will be relegated to the FCS playoffs.

The few bowls that FCS get, will have a 4 to 8 team playoff to determine who goes to the (few) P5 Bowls with non-P5/A5 slots.

We will still get decent post season pay, but less than now. Mainly with inflation factored in. So non-P5/A5 will have to become more regional to adjust their Athletic Departments’ balance sheets.

If we're talking about returning to conferences we left, shouldn't you include Tech, UNT, Arkansas State, and ULL (I think) in the Big West, too?

Where's Boise and Utah State going?
