Yes Dickerson and James, the "Pony Express". SMU was too busy playing UT, A&M, Arkansas, TTU, etc. to worry about someone like Memphis.

Probably true 35 years ago. On the other hand, in the last 8 years we are 7-1 against you guys, with your 3 point win coming after we had half the team out with covid, had a month off, and only 2 practices.

In our 8 last games, we have AVERAGED 51 points per game against you. No need to worry about us (or go to games), I guess.

I'm not proud of our record. The dp was devastating.
