Is this the 1st time that UAB has had a home game scheduled on Classic weekend?

Best I can tell, and all I have is message board rumors, is the SBC3 tried to discuss this with CUSA officials, but CUSA officials ghosted the SBC3. Can’t negotiate when one side won’t return your phone call. Although that is a tactic as well. CUSA has no interest in letting them go, so why sit at the table and get baited into giving the SBC3 an out. Just mail them a copy of the contract every other day.

Ultimately, it’s bad business by CUSA and the SBC3, CUSA will get the worse side of it even after it’s done I believe. The CUSA5 need to look at the bigger picture and ever expect to rescued from what CUSA is becoming, you’d think they would want to play nice with the SBC. There will be more movement, at some point the AAC will backfill with SBC teams and the SBC will be in the market again for teams.
