frustration
Intellectually I know that injury and illness (especially during a pandemic) is nobody's fault. Still its unbelievably frustrating to watch our season go down the drain. Coach Foley said it will be extremely difficult to get his team back ready to play after a month off. Still, with Foley being an elite coach, having decades of experience, and likely having talent near the top of the league, I believe the women's team will be "okay" by season's end and could be a force in the tournament. The situation for the men's team seems more dire, as we will continue to be short-handed due to season ending injuries and weren't expected to do much in the league under the best of circumstances. I think a healthy team could have surprised some folks, but we are never going to get fully healthy.
