Are you certain Cribbs started from day #1? It seems to me he started after a game or two, like maybe Mc Daniels or Valentino started the season at QB. I could be wrong (and probably am).

Not sure. He played 11 games though.
I was able to find online that Valentino, McDaniels and Cribbs all played in the first game at Iowa September 1, 2001. I don't THINK Cribbs started that game, but he did play. I'm pretty sure McDaniels was injured. Anyway, this is purely trivia. Your statement that Cribbs started from day #1 is, for all intents and purposes, essentially the case for statistical purposes.
