The interesting part is that in the 2nd half of our blowouts, we really didn't do much or execute well. It almost would have been better if we had put Prater in to see what the young man can and cannot do at this point.

UC is on the verge of its most historical season of all time. You don't sacrifice that for the sake of developing someone for next year. Keep the starters in and run up the score.

Last week Oregon had a 10 point lead and the ball inside the Washington 10 yard line with under a minute to go. They could have easily taken a knee and ended the game. Instead they ran the ball and tried to score. They got down to the 1 yard line when the game ended. Their coaching staff knows style points matter.

Bolded. I agree with the concept but unfortunately the concept has not proven out this season. IF the starters aren't executing after one or two 2nd half possessions then we are essentially just increasing their chance of injury. In that case, get them some rest and see if the folks waiting in the wings have the fire and talent to do what the starters haven't done... pour it on and help UC's perception.

Fick put the brakes on even when Prater did get some playing time. Hopefully Prater gets playing time tonight.
