HBCUs don't have gay rights as a priority and are not so elitist as the Ivy league and the AAU schools. So again, I don't see how it makes it more "palatable." If you were talking about UMass, I would understand.

The moneybags obviously is an issue.

I'll Google up some links later, but besides being anti-gay, liberty also has a reputation for being racist.
