After a couple of close losses, many people on this internet message board have become very Negative Nancies. I think it's time for fans to rally and support this team. I don't understand the negativity.
This is a good football team. They need to clean up some mistakes, rbs have to stop fumbling, defense has to get more pressure and create chaos (more sacks and INTs). This is all manageable.
There are a lot of young talented players on this team, and our True Fresh QB is awesome. I think he has the potential to become one of the all-time greats. To me, the future looks very bright for Memphis Tiger football.
The fundamental flaw here is that this isn't the player's fault, and inferring that it is puts the onus on the wrong people. This is a scheme problem on defense. We are nearly the worst team in all of college football on defense, and that isn't because of blown coverages or arm tackles. McIntyre is a disaster.
Howdy stranger.
