I’ll believe no Sun Belt schools darting for CUSA when I see it. Especially given how the AAC responds. There’s a big difference in CUSA’s attractiveness should it only shed a Rice, versus losing Marshall, USM, and UAB.

And, also, so many schools pegged themselves to CUSA as a ceiling when they did their feasibility studies. I would hope that the leaders at SBC schools have some self-awareness about how much better the conference has become than CUSA, but I’m not sold on it being so.
