Baseball transfer portal
New England Baseball Journal released the top 10 players from the region who put their names in the transfer portal.

NU is pretty much all set if Dupere, Malgeri, Costello come back, But there's a chance Glavine could add a pitcher or an outfielder who is available.

The rotation looks to be set with Schlittler, Keane and Scotti. But Hartford ace LHP Nick Dombkowski and Elon ace LHP Jared Wetherbee (both New Englanders) are in the portal as grad transfers. You add Dombkowski to that trio with freshman Dennis Colleran and Jack Beauchesne and the depth is even greater NU.

Not sure if Glav would want to add Wetherbee being he's a player from the CAA. Then again he could.

If NU were to lose Dupere and Malgeri that opens up two OF spots. URI OF and lead-off hitter Austin White, UMass-Lowell's Vinny Martin and Bryant's Vincenzo Castronovo is in the portal. White and Martin have one year of eligibility, while Castronovo has 2 years.

Hofstra's HC John Russo left the program and they have a bunch of players in the portal. Weekend starting RHP Jimmy Joyce (grad transfer), and INF Ryan Morash are available. 2B Austin Gauthier was in the portal before transferring to Maryland.

Towson has some good players in the portal as well. Notably RH ace Josh Selis (grad transfer) and OF Javon Fields.
