RE: Bearcat Football Keeps Getting National Love

You have to go back to Rick Minter to find someone who coached here for 5 years or more. In this specific case it probably helps that we are not P5 in terms of the expectations to win bigly. Not getting are asses handed to us against Georgia helped to. We SHOULD have won that game but it didn't quite fall that way after a last second 50+ yard FG. If we can either get to and win the NY6 or sneak in to the CFP we will be the new Boise St./UCF IMO. That is what still alludes our program going back to Brian Kelly - winning the biggest game on the biggest stage. If there was ever a season where the planets are aligned it is this coming one. Think about this...we actually have a BETTER team than last year. I'm certainly not suggesting that it is by leaps and bounds but when you factor in the returnees including a seasoned, focused Ridder, and the talent/depth already in place - wow! Throw in our schedule. It's going to be tough to take two road wins from Indy and the Domers but I believe there is a two week gap between the Indy game and the Golden Boyz. IMO, we have to take the Hoosiers game to remain highly ranked for the NY6 and the game in South Bend would be more of a "just keep it competitive and try to sneak out with a win" type thing. Of course winning would be the gravy on the mash taters. All we can do is ask for this opportunity and it's right there in front of us for the taking.
I'm still worried about OLine. Offense went to **** against GA when Hudson went out.
