It could always be worse Tiger fans...

Cincy has done this to themselves. They created this investigation in an attempt to avoid paying Brannen his contract. And Brannen is fighting back with some player support. Cincy will probably have to pay him to leave or he'll stay & can't recruit or Cincy will have a hard time finding a coach that wants to work under those circumstances. Self-imposed implosion.

AKA the UTK method of coaching dismissals....

Unfortunately, I bet UC doesn't have the deep pockets required to execute it effectively.

UC has HUGE money. More than UTK. The UC endowment fund is well over a billion dollars. But I'm not sure if a school can dip into its endowment fund for sports related matters.

Don't think so. It will have to be booster money that bails them out from these hijinks - so how deep are the booster's pockets?
