Grace is in California tonight, racing what I believe to be her first-ever 10K on the track. The remainder of both track and field teams will be at the University of Houston tomorrow.

Rachel Johnson, who ran for Baylor, and who is now the track and field/cross country coach at Liberty University, will be trying for the Olympic qualifying standard of 31:25 (about 5:04/mile for 6.2 miles).

A safe time for Grace to be among the top 32 in the West at the end of the season would be about 33:30 (about 5:24/mile).

To watch it live, go on Instagram to @soundrunning and click on "College Invite". Women's 10K is scheduled for 10:00 CDT (8:00 PDT).
