Reece was suposed that stretch 4 that could defend and stretch the floor. It just never materialized.
If Curry leaves, our biggest need will obviously be PG but outside of that we need someone that can play the stretch 4 spot that can open up the paint to Kalu (assuming he's back). Im hoping one of the point guards that have committed are able to at least play a few minutes per game. Hunter is legitimate on defense, but I'm not sure how much he will help us offensively. Oliver needs to be a legitimate shooter.
Long *might* be able to do some of the things we hoped Reece could do.
Syracuse does a good job getting guys that fit their system and then when they have an explosive scorer like Boeheim, it obviously helps. Because they play such a unique defense that most teams dont, it gives them such an advantage in round 2 when the opponent has ~48 hours to prepare.
