5 of the last 6 CUSA champs have won their first round NCAAT game, the lone losers are us.

I think the team we faced is the best on the list above. The Purdue team we played would have dusted North Texas. Too big, too strong, with an NBA point guard. Ahmad played a hell of a game - too bad no one else showed up.

Second behind MSU I’d say.

I can see that. Different angle: I think our 2015 team that went to the NIT was better than our 2019 team that made the dance.

Totally! A much better team. The 2019 squad was less talented and was very lucky. They were just tenacious and willed themselves to several wins that were stolen from the jaws of defeat.
